Bible reading

I read the Bible almost every day, but I missed reading yesterday. I just forgot. I used to have the Bible reading habit years ago, but something happened in my life and I found Bible reading difficult. My regret is that I went so long without reading it. Now I have the habit again. It is a good one. Why is it so easy to give up good habits, but so hard to give up bad habits?

Silent Night

Today, I heard that a school is changing the words to Silent Night and teaching it to the children. They have made the song sad, and they are taking the joy out of Christmas. We used to complain that they were keeping Jesus a baby and forgetting why He came here. Now, they want to really remove Him. We need to keep Jesus in Christmas. We are human and we need reminders. That's why the church has festivals and special days. Christmas should remind us and make us think about Jesus and how he came here and why he came here.
