Funnies in the Bible part 2

(2) The Hebrews were wandering around in the desert and Deuteronomy chapter 2 says
1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
2 And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Can't you picture them marching round and round the mountain and God has to tell them to stop. You see, they had not obeyed God and God stopped listening to them so they had no direction. They didn't know where to go. They went around in circles.
