Baby Chrissy doll

My daughter Christine saved her Baby Chrissy doll. It is now in her kindergarden Sunday School room. She got this doll because they had the same name.

New pews

I don't think I ever showed you the new pews we got in my church, Cleveland Baptist Church. The side rows are curved so the people could sit facing the platform and see better. Clever, isn't it?

I do like silk flowers.

The violets are real and the snow drops are my paper flowers.

Spring is finally here!

I'm back!

I haven't posted for a long while. I've gotten bored with Facebook games. The good news is I've been crafting again. I've taken up beading/jewelry making. I also make greeting cards. I'll post pictures soon.

Tradition

I have a Christmas tradition. Every Christmas I buy a new pointsettia plant. I keep it all year. The colored leaves gradually fall off and you are left with a nice green plant. Right before Christmas I toss it out and buy a new one. They come in different colors like red, pink, and white. Last year's was pink, so this year I got a red one.

Time

I am trying to catch up on reading my favorite blogs. I really missed them. I like playing games on Facebook, but they sure can waste your time. First it was radio and television, then around 1990 internet/e-mail and blogs and Facebook. Life has really changed in the last 20 years. I don't watch much tv or movies like I used to. I don't read as much as I would like. My crafts are not getting crafted. I think some changes need to be made, by me.

My son Bob in Europe

He is there with a group from our church to visit missionaries. What an experience for him. He is visiting Hungry, Slovakia, and Romania.

Facebook

I have been spending so much time on Facebook lately and have forgotten about blogging. I will try to post more often.

This is my new Kentucky Derby Fiftieth Anniversary Barbie. She is a collector Barbie and she is not coming out of the box.

Goodtime 3

Today I enjoyed a great trip down the Cuyahoga River on the Goodtime 3. I had a great view from the 3rd floor plus a lot of sunshine and fresh air!

Our Anniversary

I forgot to tell you about our wonderful anniversary, which was on Mon. the first. We drove to Amish country. We thought it would be rainy and stormy but the weather was beautiful. We ate at the Der Dutchman and I had salmon.

Then Paul bought me some lovely things.

Glinda the Good Witch and a kaleidoscope. The lady with the feather is "Abigail 1812" "Pen Pal". She is special, she is a Cameo Girl. There is a place in the top of her head which holds a small vase. I put some artificial flowers in it and it looks like a hat!
